Herbs 101--Herbal Basics:

Join us as we review best practices for harvesting and preserving your herbal bounty.  We will cover drying, storing, infusing, tincturing, and tonics, which are the starting points for making your own herbal products.  If weather permits, we will forage in field and garden for volunteer herbs to practice our skills.  While we always engage in lively discussions on the uses of herbs, this class will primarily focus on the hands-on side of herbalism.  This will be particularly useful to home grower herbalists who want to know, “what do I do with all these herbs?”  Workshop is beginner friendly, and will last 1-2 hours.  Please bring a small, glass jar with lid.  Registration required.
