Why Come to our farm?
Most of our seedlings are open-pollinated or heirloom varieties, varieties you won’t find elsewhere. All varieties are chosen with the home gardener in mind. We have either experienced success with them in our own raised bed kitchen garden, or have chosen them to trial based on description and reviews. Everything is grown in organic starter mix, amended with our own compost, worm castings (aka vermicompost, adds beneficial microbes, producing healthier, bigger seedlings with resistance to disease--without chemicals). All seeds are non-GMO. All seedlings are started by us on our certified organic farm (certified through NOFA-NY LLC). *We have some fun, hard to find medicinal herbs for your home apothecary.* Please inquire about our composted horse manure and worm castings—both available for sale in bags or bulk. Tomatoes are in 4” peat pots, everything else is in 3” or 4” peat pots or plastic 4-packs.
