Certified Organic Farm and Nursery:

Q: When are you open?
A: The nursery is open April-June. We are also open during our tours and workshops. We are a working farm, rather than a retail nursery, so please call ahead if you’d like to visit us at any other time.

Q: Do you ship plants?
A: Yes, we are certified to ship live plants across state lines. We ship plants April-May. All orders must be placed by April 30th. Please email us to inquire about shipping plants.

Q: Do you deliver or ship compost?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver or ship compost at this time.

Q: Can I pre-order my seedlings online and pick up in the spring?
A: 2024 there is no pre-order option. We open April 12, and put plants out weekly as they as they are ready. Come by and browse our one of a kind selection of medicinal plants, native plants, and heirloom varieties!

Q: When is the Herb Loft Apothecary open?
A: The herb loft is open online 24/7 at www.theherbloft.com

Q: What is available to purchase at the Herb Loft?
A: Our dried herbs

Q: How much is 1 ounce of dried herbs?
A: Depending on the herb, 1 ounce (by weight) is approximately 1-2 cups by volume, and approximately 32 teaspoon servings.

Q: Where do you source your herbs and products?
A: We grow, tend, harvest, dry, and process all our herbs on farm. We are committed to supplying our community with the highest quality, certified organic medicinal herbs. Short of growing them yourself, you will not find fresher, more potent, or more mindfully grown medicinal plants anywhere. Our apothecary products are crafted using our herbs.

Q: Do you offer curbside shopping of your products?
A: Yes, purchase your items on our website and choose “local pick-up” at check out. Tell us the day you will be coming and we will leave your items in our self-serve driveway shed.

Q: Do you ship items?
A: Depends—we now offer shipping on many of our products such as dried herbs and small apothecary items. Choose the shipping option at checkout. *We do not ship: compost, large extracts, or herb and mineral soaks.

Q: Do you offer education at the Herb Loft?
A: Yes, we host workshops and discussions.
