Join north fork herbalist April Alexander and “farmden”er Nicole Orens-Williams for a full day herbal intensive in the medicinal herb garden featuring all three classes in the Herbal Basics series. At the end of this very full day, participants will know how to harvest, dry, process, and store their home-grown herbs, make them into herbal “simples” such as tinctures and oils, and use the simples to formulate herbal remedies such as teas, syrups, salves, and more! This class is perfect for anyone ready to get going with herbs and wanting to jump-start his or her own home apothecary.
